Meet Vianca

Hello! My name is Vianca Anderson, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Georgia and South Carolina. I am an EMDR-certified therapist, approved consultant, and trainer. I am a trauma-focused therapist, which means that I operate from the mind state of “what’s happened to you” as opposed to “what’s wrong with you.” Having survived many traumatic experiences myself, I understand the damaging impact trauma can have on the mind and body from both a personal and professional perspective. This allows me to be nonjudgmental in understanding how your past experiences have hurt your overall well-being.

I am committed to helping my clients live their best, most vibrant lives. Counseling can help you identify and remove the barriers that prevent you from achieving the life you want and deserve. Utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed practices, we will explore the underlying causes of your suffering and work to heal from the experiences that have made it difficult for you to live your best, most vibrant life.

*An EMDR Trainer is an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Consultant who has undergone an extensive application process to become an educator in the field of EMDR therapy. To obtain this credential, the trainer has submitted all related training content and materials to EMDRIA for review, including but not limited to the LMS platform, trainer content, and essay. These materials have been reviewed and meet EMDRIA basic training curriculum requirements and the overall standards set out by EMDRIA for EMDR basic training. To maintain this credential, the EMDR Trainer must continue to satisfy EMDRIA requirements, including participation in Trainer Day events and adherence to EMDRIA policies and procedures.
